What is Oil Tracker?
Oil Tracker is an iPhone app for following oil and energy markets. It organizes information on crude oil, refined products, and supply and demand factors, along with research notes that explain the context. It is an informational and educational tool.
How do subscriptions and billing work?
Subscriptions are purchased through the App Store and billed by Apple to your Apple ID. We never see or store your payment card details. Pricing and subscription length are shown in the app before you buy.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Oil Tracker. You can cancel there at any time. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before your current period ends. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe, open Oil Tracker, and tap Restore Purchases in the app’s settings. Your active subscription will be restored.
How do I request a refund?
Because Apple processes all payments, refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Where does the data come from? Is it real-time?
Market and fundamental data come from third-party sources. Data may be delayed, revised, or occasionally unavailable, and we cannot guarantee its accuracy or completeness. Times and sources are noted in the app where possible.
Is Oil Tracker financial advice?
No. Oil Tracker is for informational and educational purposes only and is not financial, investment, or trading advice. It does not make recommendations for your personal situation. Consider speaking with a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
Do I need an account?
No. Oil Tracker does not require you to create an account or provide your name or email address to use the app.
How do I request deletion of my data?
Oil Tracker keeps very little information. Preferences are stored on your device and are removed when you delete the app. If you have emailed us and would like your correspondence deleted, or have any other privacy request, email support@bearinganalyticsllc.com with the subject “Data deletion request.” We will respond within 30 days.
